Independent Brand NutShed Hit’s The Shelves

Evie and Eliza, are sisters and food makers from Nenagh, Tipperary. Their brand, NutShed, came to Evie in a dream one night. Their parents hailed from agricultural households where food was sourced, farmed, prepared, treasured, and chomped with relish; it’s safe to say that excellent food runs in their blood. They recall hanging firmly on their mother’s hip as toddlers while she stirred pots for hundreds of jams and chutneys collected from Tipperary’s hedgerows.

On launching in Dunnes, the sisters had this to say:

“We are so delighted to secure a nationwide listing with Dunnes Stores for our range of single origin peanut butters! It’s a huge achievement for us all on our small team at NutShed.”

“Personally this milestone is close to heart as over 40 years ago our dad moved to Nenagh as a young manager at Dunnes Stores. In Nenagh he met our Mom and with his grocery experience they both went on to open Country Choice in 1982 where they have been trailblazing in the Irish food industry ever since.”

“Launching into Dunnes Stores at the start of 2021 propelled us into the new year, we’ve been so lucky with the support we have received from them, spotting us at Bloom in the Park back in 2018, they really believed in us, and backed where we were going”- Eliza
This listing comes as we launch our new range of products, Harissa Chilli, Very Crunchy and Great Taste winner Chocolate. Made to order, crafted in small batches in Tipperary using Hi-oleic, single origin peanuts and Irish sea salt.”
